Warranty Terms & Conditions for the Gradient All-Weather 120V Window Heat Pump

5-Year Standard Manufacturer's Warranty

What Products Are Covered?

  • This limited warranty is valid only in the Continental United States and only for the All-Weather 120V window heat pump.
  • To be eligible, it must be purchased from Gradient or a Gradient authorized reseller.
  • Claims can only be made by or on behalf of the original purchaser at the original installation location. The warranty is non-transferable and is assigned to the owner in the product registration.

    What Is Covered & For How Long?

    Gradient proudly warrants this product against any failure due to defects in materials and workmanship or manufacturing workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Here's how we take care of you:

    • ONE YEAR PARTS AND LABOR LIMITED WARRANTY: During the first year after purchase, Gradient will provide, through our authorized service representative, free repair or replacement of any parts that fail due to defects in materials and workmanship. This includes both parts and labor.
    • FOUR YEARS ADDITIONAL PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY: From year 2-5, Gradient will continue to support you by providing, through our authorized service representative, repair or replacement of any parts that fail due to defects in materials and workmanship. (Parts only, labor for installation or uninstalling of the replacement parts is not included in the coverage.) 

    All warranty periods begin on the date of original installation and cover the remaining duration of the warranty period. If the product has a defect or malfunction covered by this warranty, Gradient will provide a new or remanufactured part or product and will repair or replace at our sole discretion.

    Making A Warranty Claim

    1. Filing a claim under this Limited Warranty is simple. Just contact the Gradient service number and/or email hello@gradientcomfort.com or your authorized service partner directly if previously defined. Be prepared to provide proof of ownership of your Gradient system and serial number.
    2. Prior to returning any product or parts, you must obtain a return authorization number from Gradient Customer Experience.
    3. Gradient will provide either an internal certified technician or a recommended partner to perform the appropriate diagnosis. If a part is required, it will be shipped to you to provide to the service partner to replace

    Limitations & Restrictions 

    Restrictions to warranty coverage include but are not limited to the following: 

    • Warranty protection only covers failures due to manufacturing defects.
    • Regular maintenance is required to ensure warranty coverage. Improper or deferred maintenance contrary to the manufacturer’s instructions provided in the maintenance guide, may void the warranty.
    • Accident, abuse, misuse of the product will void the warranty
    • Failure of the unit due to acts of God, natural disasters, power failures, interruptions, brownouts, or power spikes are not included in the limited warranty.
